Welcome to Sidewinders Albuquerque, once known
as The Ranch which opened in 1990. The current owner, Mike Spencer, worked at
The Ranch when it opened and stayed for a year working for JC, the original owner, as
the 1st head bartender and then returned home to California where he worked in several bars
in SF until 1999. He opened the 1st Sidewinders in Palm Springs in 2001 and sold it in 2005 when
he took over The Ranch and renamed it Sidewinders. Sidewinders has had its soul
rooted in Country Western, Leather/Levi but is open to all. We pride ourselves
as a supporter of our community opening our doors to all who would enter
believe in supporting all the organizations which make up the Albuquerque GLBT
community. Our aim is to be a place where you can come and be comfortable and
enjoy a friendly atmosphere, meet new friends, dance to your favorite tunes and
even learn how to two-step or maybe a line dance or two. We welcome your
